about the author

Wall Street Journal best-selling author Christopher Greyson is a storyteller. Since he was a little boy, he dreamt of what mystery was around the next corner, or what quest lay over the hill. If he couldn’t find an adventure, one usually found him, and now he weaves those tales into his stories. Life wasn’t an easy journey for him from the beginning. His father passed away when Christopher was only a month old. The youngest of six children, Christopher suffered from Hydrocephalus (water on the brain) and almost died in infancy. Overcoming those challenges, Christopher was raised by his single mother, who worked several jobs to support her children.

Christopher Greyson's path to success was not a straight line. In his early years, he found himself entangled in delinquency, drugs, and crime. However, a newfound passion for theatre redirected his life. He attended Emerson College’s youth theatre and eventually majored in Theatre at Bridgewater State University, a testament to his determination and love for the arts.

But some dreams aren’t always realized the way we hope they will be. After suffering a devastating injury, Christopher’s dreams of pursuing a career in theatre and dance were shattered along with his knee. During his recovery, he became addicted to painkillers and subsequently self-medicated with alcohol. After five failed stays in various rehabs, Christopher once again turned his life around. He focused on his sobriety and providing for his family, putting his creative dreams on the shelf.

Until one day, his wife asked for his help in writing a book…

For less than $100, Christopher published his first novel, Girl Jacked. With prayer, dedication, sweat, and tears, Christopher became an award-winning Wall Street Journal bestselling author of mystery, action, and thriller novels. Recognized as one of the top 100 Kindle authors of all time, his acclaimed novels have now sold over 3.5 million eBook, print, and audio books. An accomplished speaker, actor, and prolific storyteller, he is the author of over twenty novels ranging from pulse-pounding thrillers to sweet cozy mysteries. As the anniversary of the murders approaches, Faith Winters is released from the psychiatric hospital and yanked back to the last spot on earth she wants to be—her hometown where the slayings took place. Wracked by the lingering echoes of survivor's guilt, Faith spirals into a black hole of alcoholism and wanton self-destruction. Finding no solace at the bottom of a bottle, Faith decides to track down her sister's killer—only to discover that she's the one being hunted.
